How We Judge Others
Been a while since I posted anything here. I just wanted to say something here about how others or we are judged at times. It might be a little vague but I think it could be thought provocative nonetheless.
How do we judge others and how are we judged?
By what we say?
By what we don't say?
Many first impressions are made by what we say and how we look. I'm not going to focus on looks at this time but verbal content. We must choose what we say with great care and caution. Once said, it is very hard to retract.
There are times we are judged by what we don't say. But is that really fair? For what reason might we refrain from speaking our mind or opinion? For what reason might we withhold our knowledge of others and situations? Could it be for a greater good? It's a shame that we must practice the option of silence but it is also the best option at times. It's at time like these that we might be unfairly judged. We can only bite our tongues and hold our heads high with pride and dignity. Even if at the expense of being hurt ourselves.
